I wish I was a fast artist *sigh* I just get distracted easily. Lord, make my mind a clean calm ocean, or some other effective metaphor.
So I'm almost finished with the bg for the latest page. I have, like, half a panel to go, and its a small panel. Thats generally the biggest part (I've already done the pencil lineart). The format of the comic is now larger, too large for my scanner (yeah I shoulda thought that through) Its so much easier to get details in and this time its pretty much all paint rather that scribbling pencil crayon and rubbish.
It took longer because there was water and I love painting it but its a pain in the ass -oxymoron'd-. I like how this page is coming on cause its all colourful like my Graphic Bible (Yes, I have a comic book bible, and yes I did steal it from the library).

In other news, I went to my college enrolement last week. It was daunting and unpleasant, and I have to do an artists journal and then have a short talk about all the exciting things I did during the holidays. See I'm sure most of the people there will be going to fancy places around the world and find tonnes of arts and inspiration there. but I, being poor and loserish, am staying right here in Sheffield. So I'm must once again find a way to make my city magical, like I did in the last 100 art projects I've done.

But its not all negative. After finishing school I feel so much more free and I thought I might stay couped up in this little house like I always do to avoid the frightening people. But I've actually been out shopping and stuff (look thats a big thing for this social recluse). I think getting away from school has helped because I was always comparing myself to the pretty, outgoing and more mentally stable people around me, and it put me down.
I just hope it doesn't repeat in college :[

I wanna go see Up but my family are too grown up for animated movies.
Sometimes I just wants to strangle them, you know?
